The Cockroach Ball takes over THIRD Street for a night of music, mischief and Las Vegas creativity. Explore room after room of live performances, dancing, a cabaret speakeasy, interactive art and playful bites by Chopped Champion Chef Lanny Chin.

The Vibes Room
Games, a sound bath and living-room comfort crossed with escape-room mischief — come down, zone out, play.
The Cinema
In collaboration with Eccentric Artists, showcasing Las Vegas filmmakers. Popcorn included.
The Cabaret
The restaurant becomes a cabaret speakeasy — fringe acts, burlesque, drag, magic and comedy, one gloriously strange turn after another.
The Nightclub FROM 10 PM
Then the cabaret turns into the club — DJs, dancing and late-night energy until midnight.
The Mural
Grab a brush. Follow the numbers. Go outside the lines. One giant paint-by-numbers canvas, finished by everyone at the party.

Chopped Champion Chef Lanny Chin is feeding the Ball. Bites served throughout the building, with absolutely no reason to sit still.
Las Vegas roots · Since 2002
It started with five cockroaches.
In 2002, five UNLV grads founded Cockroach Theatre, making plays in the dead of night, in loading docks and found spaces. Through grit and ingenuity, the company survived, took up residence in the Arts District and evolved into Vegas Theatre Company.
The Cockroach Ball celebrates that intrepid spirit: artists finding spaces, carving out room, making art, building community and leaving this place better than they found it.
