A wickedly funny and refreshingly candid take on midlife, womanhood and everything we were taught to keep to ourselves.
Part confessional. Part comedy. Entirely relatable.
Things I Shouldn’t Tell You takes an unapologetically funny look at the trials, triumphs and unexpected indignities of being a woman in midlife. From a magical mistress and a quick-fix vibrator to the fine art of plucking chin hairs, Shannan Calcutt finds humor in the things women experience but are often told they shouldn’t talk about.
More than a show: a night out for women who get it

Called “a national treasure” by CBC
Shannan Calcutt has performed around the world, from the Sydney Opera House to the Las Vegas Strip. Her credits include Cirque du Soleil’s Mad Apple and Zumanity, as well as Spiegelworld’s Atomic Saloon Show. In Things I Shouldn’t Tell You, Calcutt turns the spotlight inward, using her trademark humor and candor to tackle aging, sexuality, identity and the strange realities of navigating “second puberty.”

Part theater.
Part girls’
night out.
Part conversation we should have been having all along.
